Cutlery
British Silverware boasts a marvellous collection of cutlery patterns in our cutlery manufacture department. We have a large catalogue of 65 patterns to choose from that caters to all tastes from plain and simple, to elegant, to the more bold and extravagant pattern designs.
British Silverware is able to produce cutlery from the classic British Rattail to hand raised and hand forged patterns with the option of gilding, precious stone decoration and enamelling.
The high quality of British Silverware's cutlery has a long history and association with the cutlery producing City of Sheffield whose mark, "Sheffield England" each piece proudly displays as a mark of quality.
The weight and shape of the finished pieces of cutlery is very important to us and our clients. Our comprehensive catalogue of historic cutlery brands gives British Silverware a unique and well established and envied product range.
All of our cutlery patterns are individually blanked out, hand-filed, dressed, sand buffed and polished in-house on our premises in Sheffield by our skilled craftsmen. During manufacture, each piece of cutlery goes through several departments where its quality is constantly monitored from department to department throughout the whole manufacturing process before undergoing a final quality control inspection to ensure it meets our exacting standards and maintains our standard of excellence.
